Our Partners

Ahimsa Trust partnered with People for Animals [PFA] Uttarakhand, Karuna Foundation and the Gandhi Foundation, to present The Ahimsa Fellowship – the first Fellowship of its kind in India.

The Program objective is to deliver intensive learning to a select group of individuals to create employable and effective animal rights/welfare leaders with a deep understanding of animal justice issues and the protocols for resolution. The Program also aims to provide first-hand experience, knowledge, skills and opportunity to each Fellow to contribute towards positively impacting the lives of animals, with a special focus on farm animals.

MFA India envisions a world where animals are respected, protected, and free to pursue their own interests. The collaboration between Ahimsa Trust and MFA India will advance animal welfare efforts in Indian agriculture and thus help to implement MFA India’s vision.

MFA India’s mission is to construct a compassionate food system by reducing animal suffering and exploitation. MFA India works to create a world free of cruelty, in which we nurture our bodies, minds, and spirits with wholesome, healthy food that is kind to animals and sustainable for our planet. Together, the goal is to raise awareness about animal suffering and the human and environmental harms associated with animal agriculture; help increase the market share of plant-based products; and increase collaboration among farmed animal welfare activists in India.

AHIMSA Trust is partnering with HSI India, to make a structural impact in reducing animal suffering in East India, a region otherwise neglected in the field of animal protection.

Humane Society International/India is a non-profit organisation which is a leading force for the protection of all animals – farm animals, animals in laboratories, wild animals and companion animals – through advocacy, education and hands-on programmes. HSI/India is part of Humane Society International which forms the largest animal protection along with Humane Society of the United States.

AHIMSA Trust Sponsors a Gold Medal for ‘PG Diploma in Animal Welfare (PGDAW)’ programme being offered by IGNOU, New Delhi. In July 2020 session, we enrolled 832 students in PGDAW programme.
